YMCA Youth Soccer League Join the YMCA Youth Soccer League for an exciting season of fun, skill development, teamwork, and friendly competition! Our program is designed for children ages 3-12 and focuses on teaching soccer fundamentals while helping players build confidence, sportsmanship, and character in a positive and supportive environment. Age Divisions 4U: Ages 3-4 6U: Ages 5-6 8U: Ages 7-8 10U: Ages 9-10 12U: Ages 11-12 All divisions are co-ed. Age divisions may be combined based on registration numbers. Players may play up but are not permitted to play down. Age eligibility is determined by the player's age as of September 1. Practices & Games Teams practice once per week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday between 5:30 PM and 8:30 PM. Games are typically played on Friday evenings (5:30 PM-8:30 PM) or Saturdays (8:00 AM-5:00 PM). Most game-day commitments last approximately one hour. Volunteer Coaches All teams are coached by dedicated YMCA volunteers, including parents, family members, and community members who are committed to creating a positive experience for every player. Equipment Players should bring the appropriate soccer ball for practice: 4U & 6U: Size 3 Soccer Ball 8U, 10U & 12U: Size 4 Soccer Ball Registration Includes - Official YMCA game jersey - Weekly practices and games - Skill development and coaching - A fun, safe, and supportive environment Families provide their own shorts, socks, shin guards, and athletic shoes or cleats. At the YMCA, sports are about more than the game.
